For all the dozens of warmed-over articles all harping on the 'OMG, 4x more returns for Linuxes!!' theme, I can think of maybe three that actually tried to do some real reporting and do some digging on what the supposed 4x number meant. As so many astute readers asked, were there 4x more Linux sales? Did MSI release a sucky bundle with lots of flaws? does it mean more user education is needed? MSI refused to answer any of these questions. So as far as I'm concerned it's a load of unsubstantiated hooey, and shame on the supposed journalists that keep repeating it. |

I've never seen it sold with Linux on any of the sites I've visited. Where exactly were these "Linux sales" they're talking about? |
