to setup a myth box WITHOUT a schedules-direct setup? I've thought of setting one up, but I have yet to figure out how to just set it up to let me schedule a channel and time to record without requiring fancy retrieved listings (last time I tried was with a Mythbuntu livecd or some such and couldn't get past that). All I really want is a channel list and for it to let me pick a channel and start/stop times... (Of course, I wouldn't be opposed to something that would do full listing via scraping tvguide.com - which I use all the time for my local listings, but they tend to change the site now and then)

if schedules-direct is what I think it is, then no problem, we in Australia have no access to decent program schedules, So I set up Myth with no program schedule.

Ok, maybe I'll try again. Maybe it was just the particular livecd setup.
