Besides Pennsylvania, can anyone guess without reading the end, what other U.S. state the author of this piece is licensed to practice in ?

Okay, giveaway hint here: its a Pacific Northwest state, host to a certain company that continues to clandestinely attempt to bury F/OSS.

Possible shill alert on the author of this piece ? Insights from lawyer colleague, Grokaw's PJ, on her ?

Hmmm, you said "clandestinely," so that rules out Microsoft. They (well, Gates, Ballmer, and Mundie, at least) want to bury F/OSS, and they don't care who knows.

Well, I can't think of a FOSS hostile company in Brittish Columbia.
