So, is that all they have to show for the past year and a half of this wonderful "interoperability" work? running linux on top of microsoft? Thanks but no thanks. We're a big novell customer, but this kind of nonsense only makes me want to migrate away from sles.

Unfortunately, oracle doesn't support linux except for sles, rhel and the oracle centos clone, so the oracle boxes will remain sles - but we can sure as heck start running our standard infrastructure services (smtp, dns, ftp, time, bb, nis, rsync etc) on debian or ubuntu.

Best summary yet! Though that's more progress than Vista represents, which took six years and billions of dollars to be slower and less capable than XP.

Only after you activate it and link it directly to your bank account.

Smart, witty, and actually helpful?

If Windows 7 will be like Carla, there might be hope for Windows after all. ;-)
