If this actually works out for Microsoft, hiring an acerbic comedian to try to advertise their failed massively-marketed super-product, I will be shocked. VISTA is exactly the kind of thing Seinfeld would have used as fodder for his routine, the same way he would use low-flow shower heads and extreme gas-sipping cars that can't accelerate or carry the weight of two people. |

I could see his acerbic attitude being aimed at Vista's competitors: MacOS X, Linux, whatever other no-names... As if Vista can compete with them! Their best bet is to drag the "competitors" down to Vista's level in the public mindshare. |
