Flash problems still?

I stopped having problems running flash on 64 bit systems some time ago. Properly handled it slides in seamlessly and if you didn't know better you wouldn't know that there was anything special or different going on. The continued problem with distro's having problems with this and other packages lands not on Adobe releasing 64 bit versions, it falls firmly on the distro developers.

You want to lay the blame for flash not working in debian and derived systems, look at the debian developers and no further. If any are reading this here is a hint, Gentoo.

I installed swfdec plugin. It allows me to start a flash applet whenever *I* want it, which, of course, is not very often. Almost never, actually (mostly thanks to youtube-dl). So the fact that many applets don't work with swfdec (correctly or at all) doesn't bother me ;)
