At hundreds of dollars a pop, I don't think so...... While net radio and other types of radio are wonderful and do have potential, XM and similar networks have the funding to reach a wider audience almost immediately. I'm sure it would make for some interesting competition, but that's about it. Besides, I would rather not have service exclusively from one company anyway cell phone wise. I would rather not have the world brought to me by NS&A.... errr... sorry... I meant AT&T.....

I would love to see a translation of the meaning of NS&A as it applies to the AT&T entity. If is too nasty for polite company ... use LXer's email to communicate it privately and anonymously.

TxtEdMacs,

My quip was a reference to AT&T assisting the NSA tap many domestic phone calls. It was a joke I picked up from someone else.

Unfortunately if you followed Congressional cave in and Obama's flip-flop it is a bit too accurate. I was wishing for something more benignly obscene. Meaning corporal snickering rather that corporate criminality that will now has no chance of being investigated let alone bringing the perpetrators to justice. [Justice, what a concept ... ]
