Anyone looking for footage, check Christian's contributions to DTP here: http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=collection:digitalti... |

Ah...just a taste of what is to come. Christian Einfeldt has worked 16 hour days here to make sure the documentary of this effort is complete. I am amazed at his tireless efforts. It's the passions within people like him, Larry Cafiero and Steve Rufle that have made this thing work. Maybe now others outside this group will see that we weren't fooling around with this... maybe. h Oh and PS...when I said that Christian's efforts were "tireless", I wasn't meaning that those efforts were without tires (or "tyres" for my buddies across the pond)...just so the literalists don't mis-understand. |

One of the the things you notice, from watching Christian's videos, or even reading about Felton, it's not that people prefer Windows, it's that they have never heard of anything different. That mirrors my experience. People buy a computer with windows on it, because that's the only choice they have. I think Felton proves one thing, if nothing else. Linux needs to be marketed. |

Y'know, since I have never seen an actual picture of Ken Starks - until I do, I am going to just assume that this him: http://communistdanceparty.blogspot.com/2007/09/ken-by-reque... :) |

Oh jacog, that is the lowest of low blows! Ken, this calls for a duel. I'll supply the blunderbusses and be your second. See you at dawn in the north pasture. While we're on the subject: http://www.coverbrowser.com/covers/worst-album-covers Worst Album Covers See, another problem is Ken is only #2 there- he should be #1. Go Ken go! |

Oh...you guys have no idea of the amount of "Ken Overdose" you are about to suffer. My aged, homely mug has spent hours in front of Christian Einfeldt's camera...if only a tiny amount of this footage makes the cut, you will have all the Ken you can stand for a lifetime. We've done some pretty good interviews to this point. There should be some good shots taken at today's event...I might even show up in a few of them. Will post as soon after we get done as possible. If I have a bit of energy left, I will make it so. h |

If you go to Sander's link above, you can see Ken in all his Linux-yakking glory. That handsome guy sitting next to him is yours truly. I also put a link in the fourth paragraph of the latest installment of the Lindependence diary at http://lin08.wordpress.com Larry Cafiero |

I think that link is getting hammered very hard right now....... EDIT: Finally went through, slower than last time. Could interest be growing? (I know I was waiting very impatiently for more!) |
