Anyone know what this thing is for? Anyone tried it? Does it do anything that Wine doesn't?

*edited for fuller quote and more*

Quoting: Priced at $20, the software is a low cost add-on to the Free Software package known as Wine. Wine enables Linux users to run many Windows applications on non-windows systems, but until now, a low cost easy to configure version was not available.

Say what?

So, it's apparently an addon of some sort for Wine...

It seems to be primarily a configuration assistance and possibly bug fix installer allowing you to better run certain applications under Wine. See the following sites for more details;

It appears to be commercial at this point, but the original concept work was apparently done in the open, and up through 1.0 you could apparently download it from the Wine Forum. None of those links seem to work anymore though. :(

I'd say it's intended as a low cost competitor to Crossover Office/Games.
