Looks more like a negotiating tactic than a Linux commitment

They make a sharpened point that "ELCOT now says it recommends only Linux", but then they turn around and say "Once we receive Microsoft's revised offer which is acceptable to ELCOT, we would get back to you with our offer for Microsoft products."

Makes it look like their interested in having their way with Microsoft, and not so much in Linux.

Now if Ford Motor Company really goes into bankruptcy they just might might install all those Linux boxes they threatened MS to receive the price concession they wanted. Perhaps if their vision had looked beyond a mere price reduction their business would not be in such imminent danger of collapse.

It might not equal the numbers mentioned for India, but it would be significant.
