I'm not a benchmark geek. My method for load-testing is keep piling on real jobs until the machine cries for mercy. Which is perhaps not the best method, but I'll bet it's the most common :) Anyway I've been testing PTS a lot and it seems good. It's turning into a one-stop benchmarking suite, which suits me. More fun than playing hunt-and-capture a dozen different ones. |
