Another much touted security device for Laptops is the BIOS password. My Boss uses it on his all the time. He thinks I'm silly not doing it, I told him that once I have his laptop in my possession I can get into it as easily as I do mine now. He mumbled something like well it will stop the casual thief. The Security by Obscurity syndrome. |

Haha. Just like how some people think having a windows password keeps their data secure... Yeah, lemme have that laptop for 5 min and I'll show you just how "secure" all those documents you have sitting in your account really are... If you really want your stuff to be secure, you better be using some good disk encryption. |
