Debian and rc.d

3:39 AM EDT 		I thought the preferred way to launch init scripts was via invoke-rc.d; man says:

"All access to the init scripts by Debian packages’ maintainer scripts should be done through invoke-rc.d."

It's done like this:

invoke-rc.d dovecot restart

And it's even easier to type, especially with autocompletion ;)
