Scott, tracyanne et. al, it looks like you can sign as well on http://www.openparliament.eu/ because all the countries, not just the EU ones, are in the list. Or does it give some kind of "sod off" message if you try to sign it with a non-EU country selected? |

Unfortunately the petition reads, in part:Quoting:I am a citizen of the EU, and I want the European Parliament to adopt the use of open standards and to promote interoperability in the ICT sector. Which does rather specifically leave me out. |

Ah, I missed that bit :-) A shame they put that in though. There's no reason to assume that people outside the EU do not care or are not affected by the EUs' choices. |
