Quoting:The Kickoff menu went [thourght] some cosmetic polishing which made it look more than neat.
More Than Neat! I am glad someone likes it. Actually 81% of those who tested the Tastymenu implementation think it is pretty good. That is not bad especially when it is still in a heavy development process.

I myself installed Linuxmint just to test the new version and the improvements over previous version were great.

One can resize the whole menu, resize each panel individually, resize the icons, detach it to become like any folder that can be moved any where and keep it open, minimize it, or totally close it when no longer needed to be open. the setting will persist until you attach/detach it. You also can move it from one virtual page to another similar to any other open folder via File Manger.

The feature I like the most is, when one hovers the mouse over any application group, it automatically opens that group in the third panel after a slight delay to make sure you intended to open it. And, if you intentionally click on the group, it opens immediately in the third panel without any delay.

It is a piece of art, I tell you.

There's nothing like a right click in FVWM. Brilliant. De-evolution is the answer. We are not men, we are Devo. ;-)

Abe, when the Tasty menu responds to my mouse the same way the classic menu does, then they will have it right.
