But little real explanation for why linux (latest ubuntu) clearly outperforms Vista. A few months back it was the reverse so why the big change? Has nvidia been doing a lot of work on their linux drivers; is it improvements in xorg or the kernel? Phoronix thrashes benchmarks but doesn't dig very deep imho..... |
