The whole chefs-in-the-kitchen thing isn't working for me. Why can't he just come out and say what he likes/hates and why? |

Keating does seem to draw the analogy between Linux Choice and food somewhat ambiguously. Marcel Gagne is easily a much better "Choice of Linux" writer --- who BTW, DOES effectively pull references from chefs and cooking and applies these to to Linux. On top of this, Gagne constantly compares in his rhetorical/whimsical fashion, Linux to French haute-cuisine no less!) One of Gagne's latest blog postings is the very appropriate 'Cooking with Linux - Still Searching for the Ultimate Linux Distro?' at http://www.marcelgagne.com/cwl092007.html This is an excellent read, and one wonders whether or not Keating read this in the last three-and-a-half weeks before publishing his own Red Hat Magazine piece? |
