Despite my own frustration on behalf of newbies, I think that options like the ASUS Eee and yes, even Zonbu (ducks in anticipation of being set on fire) has a niche to fill. They are certainly too simplistic for myself, but would gladly give one to my folks or other family members. I have a "reviewer model" of the latest Zonbu notebook beta here at the house. Slow as hell, but otherwise pretty cool to use. It's a shame I have to send it back, even though I was able to keep their mini. :) |
