...for the BBC to show a program, any program, that you might want to watch again....

as long as it's within 7 days.

...a tumbleweed rolls past...

(in the distance a dog begins to howl)

..another tumbleweed rolls past.

The BBC, faced with being censored for telling the truth about Dr. David Kelly, had two choices - either stand up and fight for their right to tell the truth about a corrupt government and it's lies. Enlisting the support of the British public would have served them well in this. Or, roll over, allow journalists to be marginalised, let your senior management be sacked and reply with a toned down, largely toothless, revamped schedule that has drastically cut news/current affairs budgets, taken an axe to the political shows and is happily heading down the road of endlessly repeating of all the crap we hated the first time round - "good afternoon Vicar have you seen my trousers?" type sitcoms and more footage of wild animals than enough. And now they've launched an iPlayer for three OS's. to share this crap with us all.

I suppose the few dozen of us that use Linux world wide should be grateful.
