In reply to all three replies to my query, yes I have tried SATLUG, or at least recomended it to my friend, as it happens they meet at the University where she did an Adult learning course. I was hoping, as I thought I'd seen a reference to someone who is a regular here, being from San Antonio, that I could find someone I more or less know, to help. My friend's son is using the computer ok, but some hands on help so he can understand what he's working with would be good. And there a re a couple of questions he asked me on the phone, that are specific to laptops, and I can't answer them without the machine in front of me. |

Tracyanne: Helios is in Austin. That's a far ways away, but at least in the area. He may be able to find someone for you. |
