I use sysresccd all the time. It's a great distro. It's built in custom version mastering feature is great. I use it all the time for troubleshooting machines for people or backing up their broken windows drives via scp. I also use it to make tweaked versions for the College I work at. I don't think the page mentions it, but the same process is great for creating customized DVDs too (there isn't any difference besides the size of the iso). We use sysresccd to partimage our labs, and with the customize feature we can use newer versions but put the old version of partimage on it (alongside the new version) - our server has issues with the newer partimaged - we suspect a memory problem. We are also creating DVDs with images for certain labs and setting up a script to auto-image the machine from it. I'll have to grab the new version and see how it is.
