If they come to the usOFa we might have more things like the story on Fark about the farmer who dies and all the neighbors show up to get the crops harvested. Now, how do we take the spirit of "Open Source" and apply it to the things that are important in our lives? Having lived long enough to learn that the things we do with and for other people, without the corp/gov hand on the tiller, last longer, are cheaper and sure as hell work better. Such as Linux? Where is my "Open Source" search engine? TV programs as "wikis"? "Open Source" cars? Come on, you have the answers, share them. |
