I want to rip the movie Domino and put it on my iPod, but the movie is in widescreen! Is there anyway that I can rip it in full screen so that I can watch it on my iPod? I use ImTOO DVD to iPod Converter |

> I use ImTOO DVD to iPod Converter From the ImTOO web page: System Requirements: OS: Windows 98/Me/2000/2003/XP, Windows Vista RTM or better. I doubt you'll get any help from anyone here. We don't tend to run Windows. ImTOO's support page is here: http://www.imtoo.com/support.html |

> We don't tend to run Windows. Hmm, now I'm curious? what is this "windows" you speak of? I think I've heard of it - it has something to do with "viruses" (is that correct?) and something called (IIRC) spyware, right? |

herzeleid, you are close. It is the #1 premium, most innovative malware vector on the market, offering unparalleled speed and efficiency at welcoming not only antique exploits that have roaming the Internet for years like Flying Dutchmen in cyberspace, but also brand-new zero-day exploits with guaranteed full functionality. With the additional bonus of you'll never lonely again, because the nice people at the BSA will make sure they are your new best friends. |

Windows: 1. A word used to describe highly insecure computer systems. 2. Clear glass panels inserted into the walls of buildings, allowing people to see what's going on outside. |

herzeleid, I think you are correct. Windows is like a trojan horse that carries viruses into your computer. I think the name 'windows' was chosen because of the widespread belief in Medieval Europe that plague and sickness was caused by 'bad air' or miasma. The name 'windows' seems to point to some oh so clever pun on this medieval belief, as windows are a mechanism for allowing air in and out of structures. Even though modern scientific methods, based on the free sharing of knowledge, have shown viruses to be the cause of sickness, I am sure that the name 'windows' reflects an attempt at humor by some 2-bit cracker wannabe who has spent too much time at the local renaissance fair drinking mead. Stay away from windows . Huzzah! |

For cryin' out loud. Don't youse peoples know nuttin' 'bout language? In order to find the meaning of a word you break it down into its components. So, Windows breaks down as such... Wind - A seemingly ubiquitous force which creates much noise, but ultimately accomplishes nothing. ow - The sound one makes when feeling pain... s - ...again, and again, and again (plurality.) |

Funny that question should be asked here, yes you can force the aspect ratio using Linux, however it wont be the traditional pan and scan that is traditionally used. Instead it will do exactly what you tell it to force the aspect ratio, which will distort the image as it mashes all the screen data into the new size. Transcode is a wonderful tool, if you are willing to learn its intricacies. |
