These tutorials are a little old, but they do cover basics in Linux that are relatively unchanged. I keep watching the O'Reilly site ... watching ... waiting ... hoping for updated versions of "The Linux Cookbook" and "Running Linux." Carla's book still holds up, but I want MORE. |

Carla's book is pretty new. There were two editions of a book by Michael Stutz called the "Linux Cookbook" fron No Starch Press. These are older and Debian centric. I have the 1st edition of the Stutz book as well. Good book. |
