apostrophe abuse!!

I was enjoying this article until I got to the Pro's and Con's, and then all the good stuff in the article shrank into insignificance against the weight of those awful, useless apostrophes. Dear Rick Lehrbaum, founder and executive editor of DesktopLinux.com: it's Pros and Cons. They are plurals. Plurals don't need apostrophes; if they did we would call them plural's. Please strike a blow for literacy and put the poor overworked apostrophes away until you need them. Kthx, me. |
