"Microsoft doesn't actually say there are any IP infringement problems with Linux" Actually Steve Ballmer has said there are, on several occasions, but to my knowledge he has never said what or where they are. So I think it's a bluff, pure FUD. |

Well, maybe you are right or maybe not, it doesn't matter anyhow! As long as there is no legal opportunity to enforce the revelation of questionable IP infringements, business is going well for Microsoft! Why should Steve B. be so stupid to let a capital like this go !? If he would make the same claims in Germany he might be entirely out of luck with a strategy like this (i.e. SCO)! Since claims or assumptions like this have to be backed up by unquestionable evidence ! Very curious to see that things are seemingly quite different regarding this issue in the US. regards Thomas |
