I haven't used any production Apollo apps (I know its too soon) but I have used the Vongo client (written in Flex, and I know Apollo != Flex). The Vongo Client is just plain bad. It is slow, unreliable, the whole shebang. The movies just stop while playing, once you are into a movie, you can't pause or stop it coz' sound just does not come back, full screen mode is a crap shoot, and the UI itself is slow and feels heavy. Just a rant against Vongo but I wonder if this is what a Flex based app behaves like. |
