For all practical purposes, linux is a flavor of unix, so the point is moot: LAMP is already unix-based.

Yes but UAMP looks funny, and it's not as fun to say as LAMP or SAMP.

I suppose we could call it all NAMP, and when reading it like a word make sure the M is silent.

I like SAPP or LAPP - P for PostgreSQL in lieu of M for MySQL

Well, in Sun's case, I'd vote for TRAMP, but I can't think of any good terms to match. :(

WIMPS - That used to mean "Windows Icons Menus Panels Skels" in the old days when I worked in a TSO/ISPF environment.

Ah yes - the days of JCL, how I miss thee. "Windows? We don't need no stinkin' Windows"
