I just had another thought. I tend to recycle my older machines (I build them all so they don't come with windows anyway) to people like my mum. There is a plan to pass one on to my 80+ year old aunt. It will be running linux. These are people who can't afford a modern spec' machine the likes of which are required to run Windows Vista. Hence the less well off of that sort won't be able to benefit from the service. |

'Benefit' and 'service' are already oxymoron's when referring to anything from MS. So, right off the bat, MS & the BBS are doing the underprivileged a big favor. Save them money and drive them toward Linux. And, TV isn't good for you anyway... Now that's real philanthropy. |
