more countries. A hopeful fallout from this is that Unilever will see the savings that can be made, and implement Linux across the board. |

My thoughts exactly. Now Unilever has had the IT training to implement and support Linux inside the company. Soon it'll realize that their IT in Iran is better and cheaper than in similar factories in other countries. Company-wide roll-out will ensue! |

" More likely, management's on a full court press lobbying campaign to get the sanctions lifted so their poor Iranian brothers can be brought back into line with the rest of the company. Of course, in the present political climate, that's not likely to happen anytime soon. Good for Unilever Iran. Incidentally, I was part of a team sent to Khartoum, Sudan to rip out a Windows based LAN and replace it with Linux, for the same reason; US high-tech. embargo. Best gig I ever had.
