Doggone it, I done went and became a certified plumber just to be ready for the New Internet.

And people voted for that guy? Sorry, I just couldn't help myself. My nex question was going to be along the lines of whether he co-sponsored Al Gore's great invention - you know, the one that gets delivered to senators' in-boxes 5 days late.

Usually Republicans are on the wrong side of this sort of issue because they take a lot of money from large corporations. The democratic majorities are probably good for us. An exception is Massachussets, where I can't vote, but it's the democrats coming to the aid of Microsoft's monopoly. If you can vote for US president in 08, remember what Mitt Romney did for ODF. (Not that I'd likely vote for him, but that's kind of based on other issues.)
