The BBC ran a "Have Your Say" slot about upgrading to Vista recently on its website.
Link http://newsforums.bbc.co.uk/nol/thread.jspa?threadID=4853&&e... I only read through 4 or 5 pages of peoples comments. What surprised me was the amount of "I already use Linux" comments. There was the usual plethora of misinformed nonsense "there's no viruses for Linux because only a handful of people use it", "I tried Linux and it was too complicated for me" and so on but also some positive comments. |

Now, now, Sal. You're jumping to conclusions. "I tried Linux and it was too complicated for me" may not be misinformed nonsense at all. It may simply be another way of saying, "Yah, man. I'm so stupid I could eat rocks." |
