I wonder if this demographic will ever rise to the top and run multi-billion dollar enterprises. Killing the goose that lays the golden eggs, just to please Steve Jobs' new found iKiddies seems insane. So we have to throw away 20 years of struggle to carve out a free zone, just so that Joe Schmoe, who ridiculed us for years, can be catered to with a mockery of what was once FL/OSS. Corporate "ethics" must be strong stuff, it even permeates former OSS luminaries. |
