Don't quite get this. It is $100 per seat. Then you buy extra graphics cards. You are severely limited in placement. So why exactly is it better than an ex corporate compaq sff running thin client? Its a serious question: I have a charity with three or four seats, already has the compaqs and one reasonably decent pc. I can put them on thin clients for nothing. This way I have to spend $400, which I could also use for another reasonably speccd base unit. Its ingenious and so on, but why is it smart?

Full screen multimedia? Movies in a 640x480 or so window actually do OK over a 100mbit connection using straight X protocols. Full screen 1024x768 "works" but is pretty jerky.

Other than that, thin client seems like a better bet. If you already have the PCs it sounds like a slam dunk.
