I'm in pre-production on a short film that I'm toying with releasing this way. If not this one, certainly the next.

Now if only Linux had an editor that was up to snuff with Adobe Premier. I know many people will say Cinelerra. I use it because I refuse to go back to Windows even for Premier. While it certainly is good, Cinelerra is not there yet.

There are some pieces that are coming and appear to be sweet. Diva comes to mind but it looks like it's way down the road. There's still nothing at Premier's level.

Did you see that the virtual heroine folk have just released 2.1?

OpenGL support, to help with playback. Bug fixes. Etc.

Very powerful, but...

Sigh. Not like Premier on a Mac.

Price is right, though.

No I didn't. I'll certainly check it out. I'll try anything if it can keep me off Windows.
