Linux giveaway policy? What a bizarre figure of speech... Last I checked, Linux users had to pay money for those printers, just like anybody else.. |

I went to the download site to see if they offered binaries or source code. Woops, you have to register. Just another insincere attempt to cash in on Free Software without actually supplying any. |

Yep. Something like: 'Here is our FREE secret, magic decoder blob for our printer! You may use it, but you may not pry into it to see what it is actually doing. If it fails, just wait around and maybe we'll fix another secred, magic decoder blob for you.' |
