Why isn't the Bill ridiculing this laptop? It is cheap, it runs Linux, it's said to have a processor about equivalent to a PIII, so why isn't he dismissing it with advice to buy "a decent computer"? My suspicion is he's scared of some more FeriCyde tossed his way. Seriously, though, this laptop seems to be evidence that Negroponte's $100 laptop is not so far-fetched as *some* celebs want us to believe. |
