After all, it has nothing to do with linux. I've no interest in windoze-only browsers like netscape 8.1. IMHO most windoze users will either use the crappy msie browser that came with their computer, or go to something like firefox or opera if they want something better. Sadly, it appears netscape has sold out, but gotten nothing in the bargain. Their strength used to be that netscape was a solid, cross-platform browser, and the de-facto standard - but no more, as we see another watered down, "me-too" windoze-only browser. Hopefully they will be put out of their misery soon, this is embarrassing to watch. |
