Being friendly to Micorosoft is one thing, Microsoft being friendly to you is another. Boo is not directly controlled by MS and it runs on Mono too. As such it might become a weakening factor on MS .NET World Domination plans. wouldn't want to be in the cross-hairs on Microsofts turf.
