I cant reach the page (slash/lxr -dotted?), but I have read several times on different places that MS has some patent on it.. I doubt that they do (that would make a lot of people looking stupid, me included), and today I was thinking on HAL that starts to find its way into KDE.. I thought I read something about a patent somewhere but couldn´t find it... only found this
http://www.freshpatents.com/Method-and-system-for-interopera... The patent is so long and I will fall asleep long before I reach the last page (and I'm not sure I understand it), but is there someone somewhere that looks at stuff like this?? I.e keep us out of harms way? |
