While it is true that this has nothing for Linux in it, Linux desktop distros have all what it offers already and basically not needed. But for publicity's sake, it could have an indirect positive reflection on Linux if it did. Google being a long and strong user of Linux, it also could have a negative touch on Linux since it could appear like Google is not supporting Linux. I am sure in the near future google will create another pack for Linux desktop which will contain all FOSS apps by replacing Trillion with Gaim or Kopete. |
