This is a good example of what is so despicable about the RIAA and MPAA tactics. An ordinary person must risk every part of their financial life to even challenge RIAA findings. What does the RIAA risk? We can only hope that she will prevail and collect sufficient damages to survive and hopefully get the RIAA to change its methods. Hopefully some organization will aid her in this action.

An individual battles against a consortium of multinational corporations. We should also admire some one who refuses to give in and sign a false settlement because that would be morally wrong.

Sam: Despicable starts to explain it but falls short. Think about the invasion of privacy over the Internet into the person's home. Then, having a pack of lawyers after you is worse than a pack of wolves and I've seen both. Really. They send you a "lawsuit" they plan on filing - $100,000 per incident, plus legal fees. If you are found guilt, you will be responsible for all legal fees and court costs.

It makes you sick to your stomach. It disrupts your life.

This lady is unsophisticated. Imagine her fear, uncertainty and doubt.

Our government allows this. Pigs!
