This is a mind-numbingly horrible feature. An un-Mac'ishly crude construction. |

I decided to test the author's first assertion: "People always say, why can't Linux have some of the same functionality as OSX?" I think the functionality has to do with drivers and commercial software support from Adobe and Microsoft. Outside of the multi-media monopoly which Apple and Microsoft share, I'm not sure their applications over reach gnome or some of the kde apps. I'd prefer OOo on the Mac to MS Office. |

Am I the only person who hates the OS X interface? Seriously, I can't stand it and everybody seems to think it's the best thing ever. -> Fritz |

Well Fritz, iI hardly hate it, but I don't see what all the fuss is about, and I much prefer Linux and KDE. |

I don't hate it. I like it. For example, when using photoshop, the entire desktop becomes part of the application. The look and feel is consistent and stable and innovative. But, I don't own a Mac right now and I use gnome. I like the ideas the gnome developers borrowed from OS X. |
