It's recording your keystrokes, mouse movements, and clicks. It's using that information to direct you to ads. But calling it adware is false and misleading? What hogwash. Maybe this will lead to a whole new generation of politically correct threat monitors. I can see it now: "Zango is paying a lot of attention to the things you do on this computer, While some attention is nice, you may feel like this is a bit too much. Zango may bring you some really neat gifts and tell you some really neat things based upon what they noticed while they were paying all that attention to you. Really, it might seem flattering now, but it's going to get old and we suggest you push this button to break off the relationship. We don't want to hurt Zango's feelings and we're not accusing Zango of anything. We just don't think they're your type." Non-threatening enough? Dave |
