Hello,
I thought your article stated the current situation articulately, it is time for the offense to take the field! I like the idea of the presentations to the elementary children, I am studying to become a Special Education Teacher and I hope to be working in an elementary or Middle school soon. You are right that at that age they are not yet aware of all that goes on behind the scenes with computers. It is a perfect time to show them different things and let them explore for themselves. You can count on at least one more teacher that will "be there on their own time" for you. :-) |
