I don't want to wait that long for non-MSIE support on the majority of websites. However, most web developers who have picked a point at which they will explicitly support a browser have said "ten percent". Firefox is already over that. Ideally, I'd like to see Konqueror/Safari and Opera taking big bites out of the market as well. With a bit of luck, developers will get the hint and stop developing primarily for one browser, then patching that until it works acceptably for another browser or two. |
