Other government agencies have also moved slower than originally planned." Do you get the feeling that most of the articles on MS lackeys sites end up with statements like this? I haven't seen many IT projects that weren't delayed for one reason or another. It is normal to do due diligence to address details up front than having to address them during deployment. Besides, this is a proof of how bad MS lock-in is and how severe it could become if it is not stopped sooner than later. Peru is not in the IT technology as Munich, so they will have a much easier task to adopt FOSS. As a matter of fact, Peru will do much more IT deployment using FOSS and with lot less cost. Smart move Peru. |
