Gates & Ballmer might survive Google, but surviving Open Source is a completely different story, it is hopeless. Granted that MS is learning from and adopting Open Source technologies, it is a little too late. MS will never be as low cost as Open Source and users are finding that out every day. Add to that the sweet taste of freedom, MS doesn't have a chance. It is a matter of time. |
