It's too bad he decided to go the Microsoft route. But, he was seeing a signficant increase in support contracts for Windows. At one point, his breakdown was 60% Microsoft and 40% Linux. He also raided other open source projects. So, here's a guy who started in his garage, put two years into his project before it made money and now he's thrilled to be one of Bill Gates' buddies. He also trademarked the term "Professional Open Source". What a guy! |
