when Kubuntu new release with KDE is out. And no, I wont install KDE using Synaptics. It has to be part of the distro. Thank you. |

The Distro may very well be an improvement over the last, but, I'll be darned if I can see that from the screenshots... Why do people insist on posting YABD (yet another boring desktop) just for the sake of doing it? |

I have it installed and here is some of the new stuff I have noticed: 1) Better gui network setup utility 2) User friendly add/delete package manager which sits on top of synaptics 3)Launchpad integration so that many gnome apps have a Ubuntu help page accessible through their menus 4) music (mp3 etc) burning support with a nice new gui 5) Better integration of sound into gnome 6) At the code level: Modularization of X and use in some places of gcc-4.0 There are many others which you can sort through here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/BreezyGoals |
